My First Day at School: Diploma in Administration, Finance, and Marketing in italy

My first day at school, embarking on a diploma in administration, finance, and marketing, was extremely exciting.
The new curriculum, getting to know classmates, and the guidance from the teachers—all of it was new and challenging.

Yes, it’s true that I was not entirely convinced about doing it at first, as I thought it could be a waste of time. However, I was compelled to do it because my boss insisted, and I couldn’t refuse him.

After enrolling in the diploma, several days passed without any communication from the school. I had started to think that maybe I had escaped and wouldn’t need to study after all (since I never had much interest in studying).
Suddenly, one day, I received a call from the school informing me that classes would begin the next day. Fear gripped me. I was very anxious and nervous, mainly because I was a foreigner. I had no idea what the education system would be like, and I knew it wouldn’t be like back home. Additionally, there would be native Italians who were already experts in the field. I started gathering some information from my colleagues. My boss was very supportive and provided a lot of useful information.

The next day, I left home 20 minutes before class started. I was already exhausted, as balancing work all day and then going to school wasn’t easy. It takes 15 minutes to get to school from home. I entered the classroom 5 minutes early. Inside, I was filled with only panic and fear. As soon as I walked in, everyone welcomed me warmly. The professor asked me to introduce myself. I did. Shortly after, two of my friends, with whom I had lost contact for a while, also arrived. They had come to do the diploma with me.
Seeing them gave me some relief. Although, in reality, there was no reason for me to be nervous or scared. The professor began explaining in a way that instantly put me at ease, and I started enjoying the class. When the professor asked my name and I told him, he was amazed because he had never heard such a “complicated” name before.
Although I found it a bit difficult because I wasn’t fluent in the language, all the professors helped me a lot, for which I am grateful. After my first class, 80% of my nervousness had disappeared.

I realized on the first day itself that this diploma would not only provide theoretical knowledge but also help in developing practical skills.

The classroom environment was very motivating, and the professionalism of the teachers encouraged me to learn more. I now see this diploma course as extremely important for my future, and I am confident that it will help me move toward success.
